Gathering in John Penton's yard and April POG meeting.

I am quite sure that when the Penton Sportcycle became a reality in 1968 that John Penton never in his wildest dreams envisioned how many folks would come together in his backyard to celebrate that momentous occasion some 40 years later, as can be seen in the photo.

Just as those 40 years seemed to go by in a blink of the eye, so has the month of March, which means that the April meeting of the Penton Owners Group is coming upon us in short order. On Thursday April 2nd. at 7 P.M. the Penton Owners Group's monthly meeting will take place in the Jackpiner Room of the KTM office building, located just west of beautiful downtown Amherst, Ohio.

It will soon be 20 years since that photo was taken in John's backyard, but I am sure that for the folks who were there it was a day they will never forget.
