If I'm not mistaken, isn't it the pilot jet that is separate from the main jet assembley?  The one on my Bing is broken, and I believe it threads in/out?  How do I get it out if the screwdriver slot is gone?  E-Z out?

My suggestion would be to warm the area of the pilot jet with a propane torch and use a left hand drill bit to try and drill the jet out.  By using a left hand bit, hopefully it will catch the jet and remove it as you drill.  Warming the area should help.  Probably need 2 people for this job, use a drill press and one man to hold the carb securely.

Mick.....I tried this weekend (for the first time) a Sears "screw extractor" that was given to me for Father's Day....worked like a charm. I chucked it into a cordless, variable speed drill and backed out a chewed up screw with ease...It's very similiar to an "EZ-Out"

Good luck
