Sorry guys but, I couldn't get the reply to topic to work for this subject.  Anyhoo, thanks for all the info about the DKWs.  I went to the German site and it has some good pics although I'm sure I would need a leading-link model as that is what makes it so unique.  Wish me luck.

They have the Boondocker model, which has the
telescopic front end. It looks like the 1973 DKW MC 125 Model, but not a down pipe.
