Does anyone know if Ceriani shocks are rebuildable? Is there parts available for both shocks and the forks of the same brand?
What are common replacment shocks for.. 74 250 HareScrambler's?

Wrecker   Yes the Ceriani shocks are rebuildable.  You need a pin spanner, parts washer and new "O" rings to replace the old rings under the seals.  If the shafts are straight and the chrome is good they will work.  I use about 80cc of 10W fork oil in mine.  You can get real nice Girling shock copies from "British Only" for $65 a set.  They are 12.9" eye to eye and will work fine!:D

Thanks Kip.
New Girling shocks for $65, that's pretty cheap :)

Keith  No problem!  The later shocks I mentioned are "Girling" copies but are great replacements for CMF projects.  Check out the "British Only" web site.

Kip, Are talking about rebuilding gas charged Ceriani's,like I had on my '75 125 with laid down shocks ?

Kip Kern

Karl  I only have rebuilt the oil type,  I have never tried to do any gas shocks but if the top of the shock body has spanner pin holes, I would try it.  You won't be out anything!
