Indoor vintage MX

I recieved the folowwing note from the AHRMA midwest MX coridinator.  I thought I would pass it along.  Sounds good to me.

Guys:

A promoter in Dubuque, IA has approached me about the possibility of
running a 'turn back the clock' indoor AHRMA PV-cross event; like the
early Supercross events.  The track would be configured for our PV
machines down to the Historic-class bikes.  The event would take
place on Saturday afternoon/evening January 31.  For those PVers not
going to AZ, it could be a chance to take part in a unique event.  
The promoter is looking for a minimum of 50 entries to make this
work.  Please e-mail me at [email protected]; or call me at 815-369-
5204 for more info.  We need to let him know by December 26 if we
have eough interested riders.

Great idea, I wish I lived closer to IA or Indiana or Ohio.....[8D]Fla? Sounds like a logical progression for the PV bikes to move into..

tailight off of you(penton)but I haven't been able to get ahold of you
you mentioned that other bikes besides penton used the same one.can you please tell me I need another one for a bike I'm trying to get done for vintage days

Man, I wish they would bring that here! That is a race I wouldn't mind paying $25.00 to see. I am sooo tired of the Supercross, it is all a factory show now and all of the laser lights I feel like I am at the fair. BRING IT SOUTH GUY'S PLEASE!!!!!!:D[8D]

I don't have a list of specific bike models that used it but it was common to many Italian and German bikes (and other European bikes) of the late 60's and early 70's.  They have been showing up on eBay fairly regularly lately.  Search under CEV, Ducati, MotoGuzzi, Penton. etc.  I'll bet one comes up pretty soon.

Anyone here think they will make it to this event either as a competitor or as a spectator?
