Does anyone know how to determine the production number of the 1997 Jack Piner 200. Should you go by the certificate or is there something to the vin# that would tell me?

The reason I ask is that on KTM Talk someone said they had #225 of the 97 200 LE, the one I am looking to buy only shows only 133 bikes were produced. Another words "55 out of 133".

Just wondering if someone knows...thanks for reading and let me know!

Tim I am looking at my certificate as I write this,my certificate
number is KTM JP005,the last 8 digits of my vin number are VM200234.
My certificate says this bike is number 5 of 133 made.
I don't know where the other guy got his numbers but I do know that
my information is correct. Also the certificate is signed on the bottom
by John Penton and Rod Bush.I hope this helps you.
