Have used them etc....they are kwik turns so be carefull, a good one the Magura "DUO" 314, has two turn ratios, one for moto, one for nduro, just by turning the twist part to the other side.....or even the Magura 312, pricey but very good

I just bought one and put it on my bike. I had to run it behind the front number plate instead of through it. As it turns out. I think that it will work better there. The way that the trottle came stock.... (through the front plate) tended to crimp the cable. This should not. I had bought some parts off of e-bay and with them came what I just found out was a Gunner Gasser. I bought a new one from NW Maico CZ and it was only 25 bucks. I also got a throttle cable that had an in line adjuster so that I could set it up for the Mikuni that I am running. The whole thing with shipping cost me less than 50 bucks. The other thing that I found  is that the older throttle tube works in the new throttle and vice versa. I am going to see if I can find a new throttle tube for the old one since it has been shortened for some reason. It is too short for my hands I guess that it would work for a guy with small hands or a kid but not my hands.
Their number is (435) 563-9398  They are nice folks and they did do a good job of getting it to me quickly. I called on a monday and it was at my house the next monday. I think that is pretty good. It would be hard to beat that kind of turn around time.
No I do not get a kick back but when someone really does do a good job at service and is reasonable too I like to use them if I can.

Thom Green,I own and ride a 76 250 MC5 MX which I bought new.

Thomas,
I've had one on my Husky for years, very dependable and smooth working.  Parts are also available through the Husky club.  I'm wondering if the cables will work for the penton carb, as I'd like to try one for competition purposes?

Also " Motoboss" from Cycle Gear about 18 bucks. BTW I ahve an old throttle called an MTD Twister. It is a1/8 turn throttle. Had it for years never seen one before or since. Can anyone tell more about them?
Thomas how far along is you bike? Thank you, James
7\\" and 4\\" travel? Hmm-that makes 11\\" Hey! I can live with that.

Hi James, I have had the frame powder coated & pipe all new bearings, new tubes & tire's new fenders and side panel's a complete overhaul of the engine from Kip Kern which made it NEW again, and now I am working my way through the carb and a new pvl electronics, just sent my flywheel to PVL to get remagnetized......I think that is all, but there is still more to do, I want to get all my glass work done and I talked to vintage dirt bikes about doing the work. I am slowly making my way but it's a LONG road with a bunch of mud hole's. Thank's for asking !!

Thomas good to hear it is coming along. Restorations can be trying not only on your wallet but your patience. BTW I have always run side pull throttles since I feel they are safer-not having that big daeth loop hanging in the wind. I have hooked one on another racer-drug my bike around a few turns before he noticed his Yamahopper was a bit sluggish-but he admitted it was handling better.LOL I guess if a side pull cost hundreds more it would be worth it to me. James

I have bike parts in the kitchen cabinets where most people have dishes..
