  Are you talking about a 250 engine out of a Penton or another brand that truely has a Sachs engine?
  Basic things are measuring the diameter of the end of the crankshaft so that the flywheel will fit on it.  But first we need more information on the 250 engine to determine exactly what you have.
  One other thing to keep confussion down, this should go under the Forum and not Wanted/For Sale unless of course you are trying to buy an ignition system(MotoPlat).
