I have a Penton 6-Day bike was a gold sticker that reads "US Silver Vase Team ISOT 1968 Italy, John Penton, OHIO. It has a plate on it that says it is bike #4. Does anyone know what this sticker means? Was this bike used in the race in Italy in 1968?

The sticker on the tank should also have the names of riders.  If so it was put on all 69 gas tanks.    Where was the bike #4 plate located?   Are there any holes in the cylinder and head?   Are there any  paint splotches on the hubs and all over the bike?   How is the gas tank mounted?   What does the Exhaust pipe look like?  Are there braces behind the rear number plates?   If it still has lights, what does the rear taillight look like?   The reason for asking is that the Genuine Factory ISDT bikes were always tricked out with other than production parts.   Most of these bikes did come back to the states and were sold off to dealers.   I personally would love to find my 1970 Spainish ISDT bike.   :)
