Vern posted the following note to the Vinduro group last night.  I thought I would pass it along.  How about bringing down some POG stuff for a display?

Hey guys --

We are going to use the large pavilion at the ranch for the
headquarters, signin, scoring, and etc.  It is very large, approx 100
ft long by about 60 ft wide.  Plans are to allow displays of
different vintage dirt bikes.  If you have a trailer queen that
you're not going to ride, but it's purty, you are welcome to put it
in here.  We will rope off the perimeter of the pavilion and have
displays all the way around.  Vinduro could also have a display in
this area if you like, i.e., a banner, sign up sheets etc. The
pavilion will be locked up at night so you should be safe but of
course we are not responsible for anything that disappears.  I know
that in previous ISDTR's, there were lots of beautiful bikes around,
but unless you walked all around the area for hours, you wouldn't see
them.  As for me, seeing all the neat bikes and the guys I used to
ride with, (in younger days), is more fun than the ride.
What do you think?

Also, the impound area will be immediately north of the pavilion so
that everything will be close.  That way you don't have to walk 300
yards down the road to see all the bikes etc.  We probably won't use
the large area east of the road, (where the mfg'ers and pit area was
in the six day), except maybe for overflow parking. Again, trying to
keep everyone close in to the headquarters.

Any suggestions will be considered.

Thanks!

Mark, Vern;
Who should POG contact?   We discussed the POG Display at the ISDTRR breifly at our meeting last night.    We or I would like to know who the contact person is to arrange some space for the POG and Penton Motorcycles display.    Thanks for the post.

Hi Mark and Doug,
Tulsa Trail Riders had it's monthly meeting tonight and I talked to Vern about a POG display at the event. TTR would certainly welcome the display and I'll be sure you get the needed space. Just let me know approx how big an area you would need and I'll take care of it.  The event is coming together nicely. Vern and a few other guys are going out on their Triumphs and BSA's to pre ride the trail this Friday morning. Should be a nice vintage friendly ride this fall. Looking forward to seeing everyone down here this October.

For now a 10'x 20' space will do.    Will let you know if that won't be enough.
Thanks for your efforts.    Looking forward to a great time.
