Frame with no engine

I found a rolling frame missing engine and pipe. It has a red tank and has 21260515 serial number. The tank does not have any marking on it other than Penton. Since this is built in Dec 1972, making it a '73 model, can we conclude that it was a Bershire because of the tank color? If so, why didn't it say Bershire on the tank? Or is it a Hare Scrambler, they had red tanks at one time. Any clues?? Ted (Biker/Striker Dude) Landers

Based on the serial # I would say that it is indeed a 73' Berkshire. The 250's in 73' were a goldish yellow in color. Another way to be sure is, the 250's had conical wheel hubs.
