Ok, so I pull the head of my Jackpiner to correctly set the timing for my PVL ignition and what do I find? Duh, a sparkplug, NGK (B8ES) protruding into the chamber. This is what happens when you take a Jap raised feller and put put him on a Penton. So my question is: Does this explain the major flat spot from low-mid range on the motor? I had to keep the bike on the boil for it to move decently in TX. I think someone has touched up the exhaust ports a bit, so that could be a factor also.  By the way the timing was spot on at 2.4mm BTDC. Not bad considering I used a plastic straw and a set of venier calipiers to set the timing; just lucky I guess. Yes, I have ordered the correct NGK "H" plug. Several, in fact.  Hope it all comes together this weekend at the ISDT in Combs, AR.
