Dear Mr. Penton, My Dad purchased My used 73 JP 175 for me in 1974. Oh how he worried as I tore up the hills and trails around our home in Sandy, Utah. He is gone now but I have great memories of him associated with that bike. Now my son and me will create more great memories as we restore that old bike and then tear it up again. Thanks for the memories past and those still to come. Merry Christmas

Dear John, Donna and family,

I pray that you have a most blessed Christmas. Rosemary and I have been forever changed by knowing you and the wonderful sport that you helped to create. Thank you for all that you have done. We look forward to seeing you at the races again this year and for many years to come. May God bless you mightily.

Merry Christmas Mr. P!

Thank you for all of the enjoyment that your life's work has helped provide for so many of us.  It has not only allowed us to keep a handle on our past, but has more than anything, helped forge new friendships that will last a lifetime.  This is the greatest gift in the world!

May you and yours have a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

Regards,

Tony Price

Dear Mr. Penton, I would like to wish you and your entire family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
I only ride motorcycles that have your name on the tank.
They're the best, and you're the best.
Thanks for everything, Merry Christmas.

T'was a month before Jackpine
and out in the shop,
the Penton brothers were working
without hardly a stop.

The forks needed changed
and the ignition was bad,
and the Penton brothers gave it
all that they had.

John had a vision
of what to create,
a real racing motorcycle
right out of the crate.

With Ceriani and Bosch
and Magura and Sachs,
his motorcycle was built
and it made it's own tracks.

So now it's all history
and still it's the best,
but now those POGGERS
still won't let John rest.:D

Mr. and Mrs. Penton, thank you so much for letting us hitch our wagons to your star. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours.

The Danik family.
