Mid Ohio Event

Business takes me back to the midwest around the time of the Mid-Ohio event. Can anyone share some words of wisdom regarding where you can get a room (if not already sold out), etc. I am planning to drive in from Chicago with a friend (unfortunately he races Bultacos)and want to try and avoid tenting it for the event.

Mansfield & Mt Vernon both have many nice hotel/motels if you're not too late.

What is the address or location for Mid-Ohio as I am planning on attending with a few parts to sell, 1978 400 pipe, 1981 250 pipe, 1982 250 pipe, all in somewhat dented shape more or less, a couple 82 and later silencers and maybe a coupe wheels, and a box or two of odds and ends for 81 and newer bikes. If anyone has a space they would like to rent a small portion of, and take turns watching the spot, I would gladly appreciate it and help out in any way that I can. I will probably camp out in my van to save money. I'll be driving from Central Illinois if there is need for a bike or parts transportation. Thanks, Mike

socalmx, here is the web site for the VMD. It gives the info on camping and area hotels. I got to tell you, went last year for the first time had an absolute blast. These guys are the best. If you can go, you'll have a great time.

Thanks for the info, looking forward to attending the event and meeting some of the folks who's names I see. My only regret is that my Penton will be sitting at home in California and my friend only has Bultacos.
