Just got back from AHRMA Cross Country National race in Bedford Kentucky and SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE Pentons did more than their share of trophy taking.  The following riders scored well.

Spencer Ballentine-1st in 0-200 Expert on a Jackpiner

Ted Landers-1st in 0-200 Novice on a Jackpiner

David Withrow- 1st in Post-Vintage GP Novice on a 250 KTM(Hey, it's still a Penton to me)

Larry Perkins-1st in Post-Vintage Historic Intermediate on a 75 Harescrambler

Jesse Livingston- 2nd in 250-Open Sportsman Novice on a 74 Harescrambler

Spencer, Jesse, and myself all lead our classes in the National series with 6 of 11 races completed.

Synopsis of race and course: Fun MX section, great up and down grass track section, and unfortunately slippery-sucky-tree rooted bottoms.  I kept hearing Simon and Garfunkel singing, "Slip sliding away..."  Between Honda Hills and this a couple of weeks apart I am ready for dry conditions so I can bitch about dust.
