I know they made a batch of 400s and sent them to our American shores. Can't believe they're all still running. Will buy, or trade 3 250 cylinders for 1 good 400 top end.

In search of a '74-'77 400 cylinder and head with good fins, boreable to max 82mm piston. Any help? Sightings, rumors of existence or any mythical sources appreciated.

Gooddirt-- That should work! Do you go to Woodland, and be there Saturday for VDR race? If so please bring it along and we can work out a deal for it? And the head for it too if you're willing to part with it. Or please try me on my cell at 503-888-2851. Would like to talk!

Thanks,

Jon

Thanks guys, but I thing GoodDirt's got me covered. Will check for your e-mail RIc and get back. The 400 cylinder on eBay is from a '78 which had standard bore 82mm, and Al B. is the only source I know for 400 pistons, largest he says he has is 82mm....could be a big challenge. Thanks for the tip anyway.
