'73 Harescrambler on Ebay

In MX trim with small tank and aftermarket Jemco pipe/silencer (or will swap in original MX pipe with J&R silencer welded on, otherwise perfect), AND includes project stock enduro pipe, CEV headlight and fork mounts, Preston Petty enduro fender/tailight, brake switch, bar-mount CEV switch, all wired with quick plugs for easy install.  

Low hours original engine still on standard bore, with standard Mahle piston and rings, all checked a week ago and within spec (33 years later). For restoration, had big end bearing replaced, all new tranny bearings, new wristpin bearing, and all new seals put in when restored--8 motos since. Tranny gears and shift mechanisms from '77 250 were installed for more positive and perfect shifting. Later-type clutch acuator substituted in, with single rod and bearing cup. '77 GS6 Bing carb installed with bar-mount stock Magura choke control, works great.

Bike was taken completely down to bare frame, swingarm and wheel bearings replaced, frame reinforcing added and welds strengthened, frame painted, everything gone through thoroughly and made right. Ridden in 8 motos since. Closest to a museum piece you'll find in a race-ready '73 Harescrambler. Even a copy of the original title and phone number of original owner, if you want to call and talk to him about out-of-the crate performance. (No kidding)

Bike's in Portland OR. Can deliver to Forward Air in Portland. Buy it before June 25 and could be delivered for free anywhere within 50 miles of I-5 corridor between Portland and the Mexican border. Or there's possibly a space on a truck taking bikes to Mid-Ohio for $200, leaves here July 1st. Drop a line if interested.
