"Too many is never enough ! "
I have 5 myself.
But, I have a total of around 60 motorcycles of which most are vintage.
Including a rare one of 3(?), John Penton imported Hercules 125 seven speed with the coffin tank.

I must quote my wife: " It's OK you having all those bikes, but you can only ride one at a time!"

14, I think, at least until I get them all finished for the most part! I don't have room for any more. Mike

I have 5 Pentons out of 90 bikes in my collection. Most of my collection is Sachs and Zundapp 125 motored bikes.

There is no limit as long as they are ALL Pentons!!!!

When asked how many Pentons you have the proper answer always is "More than I need but less than I want".

Hi Guys,

Here's my list of bikes, not all runners mind you but maybe someday. They keep me busy and out of trouble (most of the time).

1) 72 Penton Six days 125
1) 72 Hodaka 125 Combat Wombat (GO Dwight!)
1) 74 Hodaka 100 Dirt Squirt
1) 70 Sachs 125 (need an expansion chamber [:p]) any help out there?
1) 76 Maico 250 AW
1) 75 Maico 250 GP
1) 80 Kawasaki KDX 80
1) 83 Husky 250 XC
1) 83 Husky 250 WR
1) 96 Honda 500 CR
1) 01 KTM 380 MXC

Current project is the 125 Penton. It was suppose to be done a year ago, but got side tracked. I hope to finish the Penton and the Hodaka 125 C/W within the next couple of months.
Gonna try again to be ready for the Adelanto Gran Prix Feb 07.
My 23 yr old son is going to ride the Penton and I'm gonna ride the Hodaka. Should be tons of fun.

I currently have 7 Pentons some completed restorations, some in process and some waiting patiently in pieces to be restored. Since I am an enduro ISDT freak all equipped with lights and mods correct to the period for that type of work. Year and types:

73' 100cc Enduro   (in process)
74' 125cc Six Day  (restored)
75' 175 Jackpiner  (in process)
75' 250' Hare Scrambler (on the shelf)
76' 175 Jackpiner  (on the shelf)
76' 125 Cross Country (restored)
77' 250 GS  (on the shelf)

When I complete these I might add a 78'-82' Husky 250 and a Hercules 175. After reading the amount of bikes some people have in their collection and staring at my mountain of hard to find parts a thought came to mind....Insurance. What type of policy should I look into if I wanted to protect my collection from fire/theft? Does homeowners cover this? Maybe a policy similar to antique auto insurance? Any ideas?

I've got three so far. All six days, a 72, 73, and 74. Also own one Hodaka, a Bultaco and quite a few Jap bikes. Always looking for more.
Like Lay's potato chips, " bet ya can't own just one."
