Wanted - Bing 2.85 Needle Jet

Does anyone have a spare new or NOS Bing 2.85 needle jet for a 36mm carb lying around?  Al and Bing are both out of stock.

Close as I can come is a new 2.83 for a Bing 54 carb. Be glad to send it to you if you can use it. Let me know.

Thanks for checking!  The needle jet is for our 250, which is already running a 2.83 with the needle all the way up.  I really need to try a 2.85 (like the 400 uses) because I think the mid-range is still running a little lean.

So I'm still looking for a 2.85 if anyone has one lying around.

Hi Kent, Tom in Denver...Have a 2.85 measures as follows:
Hoa is 20.50 mm
Dia. at the base is 7.55mm
Height at largest base portion is 11.05mm
Small dia. is 4.0mm

Thanks for checking and providing the specs!  Unfortunately, it looks like the diameter of your needle jet is too small.

Good to hear from you.  Well, it's been several weeks since I last checked with Bing so I tried them one more time today and they have the 2.85 in stock now.  Thank you very much for checking and offering to loan me one!
