Penton Team at ISDT Reunion Ride

I know a number of POG members are making the trip to the ISDT Reunion Ride.  There will be a number of former Penton Team members at the Ride this year.  To date the list includes (from my shaky memory!) Mr. Penton, Jack, Doug Wilford, Carl Cranke, Billy Uhl, Joe Barker, Paul Danik, Fred Cameron, Mike Lewis, Mike McGowan, Kevin Lavoie, Dick Burleson, Lars Larsson..I've heard Dane is "iffy" at this point...and I'm sure one or two others I'm leaving out here. Gene Cannady sends his regrets and regards.
If we can convince Ronny Bohn to show up, we'll have the entire 1973 Vase A champion team from Dalton together, as Malcolm Smith, Dick Burleson, Ed Schmidt and team manager Jack Lehto are all planning on coming.  It should be a great event.  Hope you can make it.  Pre-entry only, due in by Oct 15, so hurry, and AHRMA vintage or post-vintage legal machines only (unless you are a 6 Day vet), lights need to be mounted but not required to operate, 3 yellow or white number plates, spark arrestor requirement waived, but effective silencers desirable.  No open chambers!!!  This is enduro, not motocross.  Info & entries at 314-481-1291 or email me at [email protected].
