Bud Leipold

Anybody know or knew Bud Leipold. He gave a talk at my church the other day and after finding out that he ownes a Honda shop in Ottawa IL, I of course went up to talk to him.  He said he rode some enduros that Jack was also a competitor in. Later, looking at his last name it rang a bell...sort of.  Can anybody fill in the blanks?
