I was working on my Hercules K100GS ISDT Replica and have discovered that the fork bushings are shot.  So, I am looking for another set of forks.  These are the same 35mm BETOR forks that fit the DKW Hornet and also the Rickman Zundapp 125.   If you can help, please let me know.
Thanks,
Dwight

Dwight:  Did you try Domi Racer for the bushings?  Otherwise I spotted a set of Betors on a old Husky 125.  Maybe a Husky club owner might help if forks were same.

I think Bob Ginder at B&J Racing may replace fork bushings as well.

Checked,  the only bushings Domi has are for the Nortons.

You might want to call Bob to get a clearer and quicker response.
Just a thought.

Still looking for DKW or Rickman Betor forks.  At minimum I need the left hand leg.

Dwight,

How are you feeling??? Why not get a machine shop to turn the bushings for you?

How do you get them out ?

I think any decent maching shop could turn out the old ones and make a new one, they are bronze right?

Dwight, I think a slide hammer with a washer just big enough to go through the bushing should take them right out. Their a slightly pressed in fit. If there's no lip to grab on to, (blind sided :() you'll have to turn or ream them out.

Dwight, doesn't B&J do fork bushings anymore?

Spoke with Bob Ginder at B & J Racing and am sending my forks to them to bush.  Expensive but no more than another set of forks.  I am also in need of some 35mm Betor fork caps.  Mine are pretty chewed up.

I finally got my forks back from B & J racing.  Took them over a month to get them back to me.  I also am planning on having a word with them about their labor charges.  More than double what was quoted to me.  I was quoted $120 for repairing my forks and putting in new fork bushings.  I let them put in fork seals and oil also.  I expected to pay extra for that but he charged me $42 for fork seals that you can buy for $20-24 dollars. (Parts Unlimited Seals retail=$6.95 per set X 2) Fork oil was a fair price $8.95.  He also charged me $90 for rebuilding the forks ?????   I thought that was what he was doing anyway.  He also charged me $30 for the bushings that should have been included with his original quote. He also charged $10 for "SHOP SUPPLIES". My total came to $303 plus $20 shipping.  I expected to pay about $160 but $303 !:( Has anyone else had a problem with them like this ?  I could have bought a good set of forks for half as much.
Not happy,
