Actually the 74 models came with the spring and cable setup on the tanks.

Dwight,
You are so right, but the 1st 74 shipments that I saw, like 1103 had the leather and the coffin tank. The next shipment had the cables and the watermellon tank.

Just for putting in my 2 cents.....I bought my brand spanking new 1974 Berkshire from Penton Bros. in Amherst and it had a tank strap of some kind!

I can't remember ....too long ago. But I believe you all !

Doug,

I live in west Houston, Texas and am interested in the frame and motor.  You can contact me at [email protected] but I will be away from the computer until the 11th of May.

Thanks,

Scott

If it's a '72, then I'll take the kickstand & spring.

If Scott doesn't get the motor, then I'm interested in that too.

assorted aftermarket parts, with a front end, wheels, and Berki motor from a steel tanker, all stitched together in a \\\'72 CMF frame, then buried alive for a quarter of a century...  can it live again?
