Be careful with this stuff on paint and clearcoat (as in, don't use it on paint until you test check a small area).  I've got some yellowing of the clearcoat on my 74 6day frame, although I can't for sure isolate the PowerDissolve as the culprit (I had a gas tank leak that Combs AR bounced all over my bike, as one more variable).
Well, a disassemble and frame repaint is a good summer project (and I was worried I'd be bored [:o)])!

Ride it for the summer, paint it over the winter.

Larry,
That stuff is AWESOME! Wish they carried it in bigger bottles!

Too late, thrownchain.  Bike's already disassembled.  Frame/swingarm goes to the bead blaster next week.

Third time I've stripped a 6day down to the frame - it gets easier everytime!!  This time there were a couple of moments when I actually did things the easy way ;)

Well at least you know where all the parts go.

Donnie , Larry,
What stores were you able to find the PowerDissolver at?
So far no luck here locally. Sound like it would work great on fork sliders to clear out that sticky gunk trapped in the bottom of the leg.

John,

Wally World carries it here in Maryland.

Thanks Tony,
We have some in hand. Lets see how it works on the bad sludge.
