Would anybody know where I could find a set of 35mm steel tanker forks for sale? I've had about a dozen of these bikes in the past 12 years and didn't think I'd find another. However, I literally fell over one, and was stunned when I saw it sitting among one hundred (or more) street bikes, so there are more out there, obviously.

I also need a complete seat for one if I can find a good used one. It is a 1971 with the long seat. Am I correct by saying that Circle F has a Steeltanker pipe for sale? I emailed Kevin but he hasn't responded back yet.

This particular Penton is number #V 61XX, which is one of the last produced, isn't it?

Oh, axels and a better set of wheels would also be greatly appreciated. Maybe there will be parts available at Mid-Ohio? if someone doean't already have some spares.

Clay,
Yes, Kevin makes a very nice pipe, keep trying, worth the effort.
Your seat hunt may start on ebay, check under seller parmabike item
270235013865, he is a little pricey but first (IMO) quality stuff.

Hi Don,

Sorry it took me so long to respond back to you. Hope all is well with you. I did email Kevin @ Circle F and he sent me photos of the pipe. Very nice, indeed!

This is going to be a slow project, I believe, as I still badly need forks, wheels and a seat for my 1971 Steeltanker, should anyone have any reasonably priced spares for sale.

Thanks,

Clay
