Are my eyes working correctly when they see an aftermarket swingarm on this Penton/KTM?  Does anyone know who makes these swingarms?

Thanks!

It looks like a  //www.novationracing.com  swingarm , or it might be off of a 1979 mc80. [?]

It doesn't look to me like the MC80 KTM swingarm, as the shock mount and rear axle adjustment method is quite different. Mike

Larry,

I was thinking Novation myself, but wanted to be sure.  I'll e-mail Karl at Novation.

pretty sure thats spencer balentine.i recall him telling me a story about that swingarm and i don't believe that they made very many of them due to cost constraints. someone here may be able to contact him for further info.  chi jer

Jerry is correct, that is Spencer Balentine. That is a one off swing arm. The guy that built it was going to sell them, but after doing the one for Spencer the guy decided they would cost so much no one would buy them.
