My new KTM project bike

Gentlemens!
I have picked my latest project bike up. It's a 250MX 1980 with the old style frame and engine. I have a 400 cc engine that I'm currently rebuilding and will use. The 400 and 250 engines look exactly the same.

I have ordered all plastic and a bunch of small stuff from André already.

Something I noticed when I took the 400 engine apart was that it clearly was halfway rebuilt recently. The sleeve, piston and M25:s looks to be new. The gearbox bearings are finished. They don't move smooth and looks worn. The shafts and shift forks looks fine though. There is a crack in the case in the bearing seat for the outgoing final shaft. I have discussed this and been talking to an aeroplane welder and It's obviously no problem to have it welded. The crack was glued on the inside from this last halfway rebuild.
