Dear fellow vintage motorcycle enthusiast,

Thanks to a post on the Vinduro Yahoo! Group by Gary Travis, I have become aware of the
1971 film "The Cyclist".

In 1971, KOMO Special Projects presented a film by photographer Bill Jensen called
"The Cyclist," covering the spectrum of motorcycle life. It's very well done,
especially considering how show was put together back then compared to now.

You can view an abreviated version of "The Cyclist" by going to:

I think you will agree, this film is quite a treasure.  I hope you will join me in a
letter writing campaign in hopes of covincing KOMO or photographer Bill Jensen, or his
heirs as the case may be, to make this poignant look at the glory days of motorcycling
available for sale to the public on DVD.

Please write to Joe Wren ( [email protected] ) at KOMO TV in Seattle, Washington and ask
him to have KOMO or Bill Jensen produce a full-length DVD of this wonderful piece and
offer it for sale to the public.

As I have written Mr. Wren, I am certain there are hundreds, if not thousands, of our
vintage motorcycle enthusiasts who would like to have this film in their video library.

Thank you, in advance, for supporting my effort to make "The Cyclist" available
to us on DVD.

Happy Trails,

Al
