Been working on my Hodaka all weekend to get it ready. I have been thinking of dragging out my Penton Six Day 125 out for the Barber Cross Country the weekend after the Reunion Ride.

If anyone needs to fax in their entries, here is a link to an updated entry form that has a space for using a credit card for entry payment.

Several items of note concerning the event.

Dave Lambreth from AHRMA has extended the deadline for entries an extra week, till September 20th. The same deadline will apply for the banquet tickets.  Links to both the event entry form and the banquet ticket order form are in the post above.

Please install your license plate in the proper location, not on your chest protector.

Please do not hesitate to bring along anything that you might wish to display, motorcycles, riding gear, pictures, banners, ect. I remember one of the first POG get togethers that we had a number of years back at the Amherst Meadowlark club grounds.  There were some really nice restorations that drew quite a bit of attention, but there also were a few old steel tankers that still had barb wire wrapped around their hubs and had a few bent or missing parts.  In the end it was the old warriors that drew the most attention and sparked many a good story, so don't be shy about what you bring to display.

Thanks
Paul

I sold my 74 Penton 250,+ 400 and 72 maico 250 to Barry Higgins

Now I have to see what gear I can find laying around..

Bob,

It is great to hear that you will be attending the ISDTRR.  I assume that this will be your first Reunion Ride, what part of the country are you from?  Also, what bikes did you ride in your ISDE events?

As an ISDE vet you can ride any bike that you wish, hopefully once you see all the cool old machines at the event you will yearn for less travel :D

When you see your bike in the "park de-firma" or whatever you call it...the Penton Thunder will hit you, it just keeps happening..

Muchas Gracias, JP.............

Hi you all,

Does anyone have a list of the entries for the ISDT RR, or know of a site that has the postings?  Getting more excited as the date grows closer.  :D

See you down Old Dusty,

Steve posted over on the Vinduro site about minimum bike requirements for the Reunion.
1.  Headlight (does not have to work)
2.  Taillight (does not have to work)
3.  License tag mounted visibly on bike (does not need to be current)
Gettin' excited!

Another past six-day rider will be joining us at this awesome event. For several months, I have been trying to recruit an old & dear family friend to come to the reunion ride, and this past weekend he sent in his pre-entry! Steve Hess, from Millington, Mich. rode a KTM in the 1978 Six Days in Sweden. He brought home "Gold" !! Steve has never made it to a reunion ride, and I have no doubt that he is going to have a great time! Here are a few pics that my dad took of Steve in Sweden in 1978.

Is a AMA Membership required to ride this event?

Paul Danik

No AMA membership is required.  I sure hope you can make the event, it will be nice to see you.
