Just to avoid confusion - I have the front plate. Its the cylindrical part that I'm missing which covers the air filter.

many thanks for the photos. I now realise that I was wrong about missing a heat guard from the exhaust. The photos show that the exhaust takes a completely different root from where I thought it went. For some reason I thought the exhaust came around the side.

I have only found one image so far of a Wassell MX so could do with a couple more from different sides of the bike. Do you have any you could email me please.

I do know that the air filter cover is missing and also the exhaust heat guard so I will need to source both of these.

Has anyone else got any images or links to images for Antelope or Tyran bikes. The bike I bought has always been in pieces so I could do with some images to reference against.

I looked on the web and found a picture of a Tyran and it does look pretty similar.

I've posted a few pictures on the blog I set up at http://wassell-sachs.blogspot.com The bike is as I bought it many years ago except the seat is fire damaged from when we had a fire in the workshop.

Thanks for the advice Peter. I get enough grief for disappearing off to the workshop at every available opportunity so introducing engine parts into the kitchen won't be high on my priority list

does bead blasting cause any damage to the definition of the writing on the outsider of the casing?

Have you any advice on getting the old paint off the casings. I've got a 125/6b engine thats been lying in bits for many years so some of the paint is bubbling up and flaking.

Hi, a while back I was in touch with someone who had an airbox for a Wassell but unfortunately I've lost the details.

If you were that person could you please get in contact with me. Or if anybody else has an airbox for sale could they let me knwo please.

Alternatively if anyone could give me acurate measurements of the cylindrical part of the box so I can get one made as I still have the back plate.
