I have had some motorcycles up on eBay recently and a buyer from France needed a quote. I called Mearsk who wanted phone numbers for shipping since it was truck-ship-truck again in France so I called Air France Cargo in Boston, who recently merged with KLM cargo. The quote was $1.30/lb, plus $40 or so for the paperwork. Cheaper than a one-way ticket in coach.

I have seen this also as KTM's seem to be migrating to the megacycle superstores like 128 Cycle, a scant two hour ride. Conversely John Deere franchisees were a couple of years ago required to sell John Deere exclusively, with all of the area stores dropping the John Deere line.

I picked a nice side cover recently on eBay motors for short (10.00) money however am thinking the stock side cover will do. Joe the RM is too new, I had a TM.

Try that with my YZ490 and you'll end up with a very wet NGK and sneakers would leave you with a very sore arch. His RM did start nicely, with the Lectron carb.

I had this discussion today with a buddy who works on turbines, getting compression up after a piston engine rebuild. As Joe stated we hone the cylinders in order to aid in breaking in the rings and get a good seal but what if there isn't enough compression for the engine to start initially? A couple of squirts of oil into the cylinder will usually seal it up in order to develop enough compression to start.

A recent post over in the CRF forum where a rebuilt 250R four stroke refused to start, compression readings in the 50's. I recommended this procedure and the Honda started, smoked for 20 minutes, then settled in so it is quite effective.
