When I started in racing in the enduro, I had a Barbour jacket and pants. Over the time from 1969 through 1972, the parts went "away" and got some holes. In 1973 we got some Belstaff jackets and pants and they went very good.

When I went to the ISDT in Isle of Man and used the Belstaff cloths. After the IDST went to London and found a Barbour store and I bought a new jacket. And I didn't used the racing and by jacket was very good.

If you are racing of the bike, then the Sun rim was very strong and I love the Sun rims. If you aren't racing, then you the DID on the rims.

After the week getting out of the hospital, I'm taking some medications and I'm working on walking and riding my bicycle, 30 minutes exercise. Actually I'm feeling better than when I crashed the van. I'm also eating more food than I was and hope I get some more weight.

My oldest daughter is a nurse, and she's covering everything that I need.

The PVL ignitions have a strong spark. The Motoplat KV is about 26,000 compared to the PVL at 32,000.

The only issue is the grounding between the spark plug and the coil/CDI. If there is not a good grounding, the stator can die over time.

I got out of the hospital on Friday afternoon and I'm taking a bunch of medications to take care of my heart. I don't know why my heart is "weak", but I'm hoping that I can "fix it".

At the moment, I'm not felling very good, but I'm not felling very bad at the moment.

I think these bikes were in the Spring of 1966 before Jack broken the first bike. Then when KTM sent us the first racing bike in the Summer of 1966.

In January of 1974, Motoplat moved the diode from the stator to the coil/CDI and that when the "black" coil/CDI wire went from to the red wire. In the early 1980's, they changed the electronics again, and that when they went back to the black coil/CDI wire.

You can use the red wire and the late black wire coil/CDI, for any version of the Motoplats. But use have to use the red or late black coil/CDI on the versions of the 1974 and later.

If you go to an electrical supply store, normally they have "long" (3 feet) heat shrink. I've purchased that items from a local electric supply.
