I'll be flying in from SoCal and my race bike will be riding with those pesky Hodaka's. Racing Classic 125 Novice and maybe 50+. Really looking forward to meeting some of the Penton guys.

Thanks again. I've booked the flight into Columbus and have a reservation in Amherst, hope its not too far from the track. I'm okay with an hour or less drive. Hope to meet a lot of the Penton group. Oh, can't wait for the swapmeet!

Thanks Ron. There are for a trials/pit bike, so not real concerned about how they hold up.

Penton Talk / AHRMA MX opener in Arizona

Tom,

My friends were pushing my bike back to the pits and said you apolgized for hitting me, but I knew it couldn't be you because of the experts starting before the novices and intermediates. One of the nice things about vintage racing, is at the end of the day its about having fun and re-living our youth. I think for the most part all the riders care about each other.

Teddy, if it's any consolation (I know its not) I broke three ribs in that first turn crash in the 125 classic second moto. Tried to make it home to Carlsbad, but ended up spending the night at the hospital in Yuma AZ. couldn't get out of the truck to fill up the gas tank had the paramedics come and take me away. Good thing the wife is very understanding!!!

AZ. was kind of a disaster, moto 1 got some snow fence caught in the rear wheel and locked it up and threw that chain. Then the second moto first turn wipe-out in the grease from the water truck.

Thinking about Diamond Don's, if I make it, I'll look you guys up.

Regards,
Brian

Tom,

Congratulations on the race, I saw the 125 Sportsman and was pumped watching you ride the Penton. The first in moto 1 of the Classic 125 put a smile on my face also. Pentons will always be my first love.

Yea, the 125 looks way nice and quite rare. I'm thinking about $1,000 to transport. Okay, no more non Penton discussion.

Thanks Rob, it's Adrian. I'm wondering what it would cost to have a bike shipped to the states from Australia.

I live in Southern California, got a bid to have my triple clamps polished for $60. I ended up doing the work myself.

I had heard Ron A. wasn't running Dirt and Dune any longer. Anyone know different?

Thanks,
