Anybody know how to get ahold of Kip Kern?  I'm going to sell my 1973 Puch factory sixday bike and wanted to chat with him about a potential buyer.  It certainly isn't cheap but it is a true one off bike that raced at Dalton in 1973 ISDT.

Many good points/opinions from Larry, Dwight, Teddy and others.  I want to commend everyone for keeping such a civil tone on this potentially explosive topic.  Very good gentlemen.

Penton Talk / AHRMA Cross Country banquet cancelled
February 01, 2009, 03:20:54 PM
I'm glad they pull the plug on it if it helps ahrma survive.  Like corporations a lot of belt tightening is happening.  It's better than spending crazy money on lawsuits.  Hopefully actions like this will ensure the survival of ahrma and corporations that supply some of us with money to race these great vintage bikes.

Penton Talk / Would you buy a bike like this?
February 09, 2008, 02:37:30 PM
I like it.  The tank and headlight shell remind me of the jawa a little bit.  For mass sale in the U.S. it coudl be tough if it doesn't look like the jap or ktm's though.  It depends on the goals of Beta I'm sure.  You might have a market with the guys that also like vintage but short of serious marketing research I of course really have no feel for it.  But, I do like it as it show signs of bikes back in our youth.  I love the italian bikes, I race SWM in the cross countries and enjoy the marque as well as the fine Penton's of course.

Hey Paul, to answer your other question I do stock the oval uni you are looking for.  They work on the penton's you mentioned and hercules.  Let me know offlist if you still need one.  I have sold tons of them.  No problems with Uni ever.

Thanks!

I have one of these, very good quality and very comprehensive.  Especially on mine and Speedy's Sachs 250's.

Yes I agree the 30mm is a good choice. That's a lucky deal to have those jetting specs, I think that is the way to go.  Just add $8 to the price of $84.95 and paypal or check/mo.  Paypal to [email protected] or send mone to:

I can get it to you in roughly a week after receiving payment.  Hope that helps.  These come with a standard jetting from the factory and you buy the few jets you need, they are pretty inexpensive.

Let me know and thanks!
