Two misunderstands make a right[8D].

Larry,
  I misunderstood your question.  I thought you were asking if the counter shaft sprocket had a cover?  The earlier KTM engines were black and I got off track.    Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Mike thanks for the DC link on the chain guard . I am going to hold off and try and find an original guard because the bike is so original and nice and clean . Maybe someone who is going to restore a bike and will have to paint the guard to match the rest of the bike will part with one or maybe someone will have one in the garage in a box of parts. Im in no rush.
