Hello,
I'm Maurizio and I live in Rome. My english isn't very good, excuse me. I'm 49 years old and when I was a boy I had
a ktm 250. But the genesis of Ktm  is Penton, so three years ago I bought a Penton six days 125 1970.
This is my Penton when I bought it:



And this is my penton after a conservative restoration:





I have a doubt about the taillight (Hella): is it original?



Today I talked with Paul Danik and I'm  happy to know now a driver of the Penton Trophy team at Camerino.

Welcome to the Penton Owners' Group board. I am one of John Penton's nephew's, and I was on the Penton Trophy Team in Camerino as well.

That tail light was used as an original light on the Pentons, but I can't tell you exactly what years.

 Dane is in fact Dane Leimbach and you will see several others who rode the ISDT in Camerino on this message board.

   Please tell us a little about your Penton and where you ride.  Are there groups who ride the vintage bikes in Italy?  Are there many Pentons?

Welcome to a great group of Penton Owners....you wouldn't happen to know the outfit in Italy which remanufactures the pipes and such...I am in need of a 73 250 Harescrambler original pipe and don't seem to have any luck getting in contact with them to see about a purchase.

Hi Paul, I think there are about one hundred Penton bikes in Italy. There is a Vintage National Championship in Italy, it is named GR5. Our message boards are:

I am inquiring about the following exhaust pipe;

ARTICOLO 43  Marmitta COMPLETA con terminale per KTM 250 tipo "giallo"

It is for a 1973 KTM/Penton Harescrambler with a Gold/Yellow Tank and I need the complete pipe including the bracket which attaches to the end of the frame.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Cost to supply, delivery cost to Southern California and delivery schedule and time to supply schedule are questions I could use your help on.
