ron,i'm not whining-it's just that the majority of the people who i've talked to,or had email exchanges with were not as (for lack of better terminology) "family like". the one response that i got and the 37 others that i've had were not posted through the site-they were direct.hey-i've got a pile of stuff-i want to sell it-i don't want to just give it away (although i have been known to do that),plus i have things other than old pentons-like rickmans,montesa,husky,canam,obscure euro stuff,etc. alot of it was lumped into storage together-so there's some mixing.i just wanted to figure out what was what-so i don't throw away a part because i don't know what it is.i like helping out the individuals who actually still race thier bikes-in no way was my last post a direct stab at anyone nor was it at POG-i just decided to wing it-put the stuff on the bay that i know is penton,and figure out what's left.

if you read my original posting-i was looking for a pogger near philadelphia area-i was not listing items for sale.i wanted input from someone local for help in identifying a lot of the parts i have that may or may not be penton.only one person responded-it's funny that after i list some of the things i have-EVERYONE- responds! it's frustrating that everyone says what a great family this group is-that is until i talk to SOME of the members-then it's stab each other in the back scrambling to buy the entire lot to profit off of each other-saying who or why someone else doesn't deserve to get any or all of it.who has more money-who already has 27 bikes ,etc.,etc. hey,i was fortunate enough to have started saving this stuff 20 years ago-i will never get to it all so i will sell it.BUT i will sell it at what i now feel is the only way that's fair-EBAY. i was hoping for some one to help me evaluate the condition and value of what i've got then maybe help out those who need a break,but i will let the market dictate that.sorry to those that were the "little guys"in the midst of this-but i really didn't want this much attention.so this is no fishing trip-i never listed prices or a complete list because i only wanted help.i'm sorry.

if it were me-i'd have to think really hard about doing anything to that bike short of freshening it up-it's too valuable a piece of history to completely restore i think.

already started-he's on a kdx50 with training wheels now-he's been on a variety of bikes as a passenger since he was 1 1/2!  i'm interested in anything any one wants to part with! thanks for the fast responses guys!:D

DUAL PLUG SET UPS ARE (IN THEORY) SUPPOSED TO GIVE A MORE COMPLETE EVEN BURN ACROSS A LARGER PISTON SURFACE-THAT'S WHY THEY ARE GENERALLY USED ONLY ON AN OPEN CLASSER. THE FRACTION OF A SECOND THE FLAME IS LIT-IS ENHANCED WHEN YOU LIGHT AT BOTH ENDS WITH THE FLAMES COMING TOWARDS EACH OTHER.DOES IT WORK? I DON'T KNOW,MAYBE IT HELPS WITH PREVENTING "PINGING" AS WELL.
