The Owner of Jeep Skool was not very happy when he heard that the race was cancelled  He stated to a friend of mine that he enjoyed last year and was looking forward to Ahrma being there again. The guy that manages the property for him is the one that was the reason for the jacked up prices unbeknownst to the owner.  For what it's worth that's what I know.  I like the fact that we now have a vintage motocross race out of it.

They own H&H Cycle in Eastlake,Ohio (Honda Dealer)   My father bought my 1977 Honda CT70 (still have it) , and 1979 XR80 from them. They are still there and work on mowers etc.

Garrett  That is the boot that my 77 MC5 needs  My carb is almost in my airbox and offset.

The boot Jeff is referring to is for the 78 Only it appears  Part# 55 06 026 500 for the different shaped (plastic)air box than the 77's (Aluminum)   The one on Al's site is for the 77 125-175 Part# 51 06 026 100  or the 250-400 one Part# 55 03 026 000   I have personally  experienced this issue being that Jeff has my old bike and I have bought a 77 MC5 which requires a diff boot # 54 06 026 500 for the GS type carb setup on mine (figure that out )  All in All very confusing to say the least.    Anyone have a rear backing plate for the 77 that isn't all wobbled out at the brake arm pivot ?

From the looks of the pic it seems as though the arm is a banana type arm (Fox,Thor type). I am only considering this if I could find something similar or specifically made for this bike (longshot? maybe ! ) My plan is to cross country it only and if it makes it non legal then I will have a race set and a display set.
