This afternoon I recieved an E-mail from one of my old racing buds saying he had another surprise for you all tonight. Hope they showed!

I know what you mean Bob I was pretty much the lone stranger with my 72 at Fairfield,Wa.

I like to ride.I love to race.Working on them is like forplay. Sometimes I sit in the shop and just look at them. What ever your into fellas.

Brian, I have had similar incidents near porta johns and have had many other riders come forward with tales of porta wrecks. Strange coincidence, we'll never know.

Clay,I'd love to make the P&C race.But the day after Anderbergs race my employer in the building Industry let me go.Amazing it just happend that it was two weeks after my doctor released me from a work related torn rotator.Kinda took the shine off my return to racing after a thirty year hiatus.But I'm lookin at it as a good thing. I have a niece that lives southeast of Portland we'll have to hook up sometime I get down that way once in awhile I live at the south end of Lake Couer D Alene.

My biggest problem with AHRMA in the NW region is, if you look at our schedule look at where the AHRMA nationals are.All but Chehalis are in California.Give me a break I still don't know how they even call that the NW. I live in the NW.And driving to north central Ca. is not an option anymore,just can't do it.

Yep Clay that was me,always good for some entertainment value aren't I? There was that big pileup by the scoring shack and I missed the flag,actually I wasn't sure if there was one so I ran an extra lap.Heck you would of thought I woulda placed better! Pretty fun day it was.Where you call home?

What I heard at our N.W. AHRMA event outside of Spokane sunday at least from the local riders was,the economy is kickin everyones butt they are tired of having to travel to the coast and beyond and lets get something local going like the old days.Bottom line is we love riding, racing and working on our bikes.We could get smaller events going right here at home have a ball and spend far less money.I had a less than stellar day personally performance wise, but you know what it didn't mean squat,the weather was perfect,the track great and I visited with alot of good poeple. I was blessed.

Tell you what,conditions were perfect,track was exceptional,event well ran.If you had a chance to run this race and didn,t think about doing it next year.Very fast track,very fast riders alot of talent showed up.Nursing my torn rotator all summer didn't help me put the six days where it should of been, but I had a excellent time.

The crossing does remind me of the Dunes.Was a propmaker for Universal back in the 70's.Used to film there alot.Would take our bikes to work stay after and raise a little caine.Pete Lampuu worked with us and used to join in, what a guy. Tough as nails.

They are an easy fab.Built my first set for my steel tanker at 14 in my dads shop.Never did have a lot of extra $
