Looking for a red 250HS airbox. 1974  Damage around air boot connection area OK.
Wheels in my head are turning, have a project in mind. Gem reed to Mikuni, fab airbox for a different boot setup and a modern style air cleaner.
Yes I know Bings are better, I run a Bing on my racer. Yea, this could be on the verge of crazy. What's laying around in your corner of your shed?

Thanks Kevin, good info, I know a lot of folks don't realize that the old clinking on the spoke will get you by, and has been std for decades, But when you receive a RE-laced wheel for a pro shop,(Buchanan's) the torque specs are attached on a toe tag from builder. + a Note to retorque after a ride or two. Very even torque must be good!
Rear wheel on my 75 Pursang from Buchanan's came back 40 inch LBS.
Do you torque a rod bearing cap on an auto engine? I hope so.....

Would consider sharing the Gem piston modification information?
