Riding a ISDE qualifier out in Washington, Was going down a side of a mountain on a jeep trail when a herd of Moose came crashing thru the brush, jumped the road and kept on going downhill...
  It was like a freight train going thru there.. I was glad I wasnt 30 feet further down the trail or would have been flattened...

I run X-Oring on all my bikes. In the past season I pulled over 60 Holeshots..  Never noticed any lack of HP..  What I did notice, is I can run most of a season and never adjust the chain.  The chain and sprockets last several seasons due to low wear.  No brainer for me..

A big THANKS to Gary Ellis for bringing his supply of motoplats to go thru.. We found one to work on my 250HS...  Worked so good I won a National #1 plate with it..
  And a big thank you to Chicago Jerry for help getting the timing right..

Mike,
  Way ahead of you...   I always clean to bare metal all contact points where the motoplat mounts, and engine mounts..
Then run a 10gauge wire from the motoplate to the coil....
  It had all this done..

The ohm readings for the motoplat are supposed to be 160 to 240.
Mine reads 158..

Just my luck to happen 2 days before leaving for Mid-Ohio.

 The Dupont dealer in michigan said he couldnt find those codes?
